The Washington State University College of Education is committed to our land-grant heritage and tradition of service to today’s society, and generous private support from you helps us succeed in that mission.
One example of this commitment is the Assistive Technology Research and Development Lab’s work on augmented reality and Dr. Dan McMahon's work researching how this technology can improve the quality of life for students with disabilities.
“We can use this technology to create new interventions and design a more inclusive future for students with disabilities,” McMahon said.
The ATR&D Lab is supporting research efforts to improve and expand assistive technology, educating our students in how to apply this technology into teaching settings, and in the long term, improving access, independence, and quality of life for people with disabilities.
The WSU College of Education features several programs, like the ATR&D Lab, focused on innovation, service, and development. Please make a gift to support and expand these programs.
