Nurses and nurse scientists who graduate from the WSU College of Nursing leave with a quality education. Just as importantly, they leave with a spirit of service.
That spirit is kindled by clinical rotations serving the neediest and most vulnerable in our communities. By vaccination clinics held in schools, shelters, and gathering places. By research studies that target the conditions that lead to poor health.
College of Nursing students and faculty take part in summer camps, high school education programs, and professional organizations. They are in Olympia advocating for the nursing profession, and in Peru providing basic health care and engaging different cultures.
When you support the College of Nursing during #CougsGive, you will not only help sustain a nearly 50-year legacy of excellence in nursing education–you’ll support a program that touches the lives of thousands of people each year, regionally and around the world.
