Diagnostic Challenges are annual multidisciplinary, case-based exercises that began at WSU in 1991 to help students learn in a simulated "real world" setting. During our annual Diagnostic Challenges, students have opportunities to diagnose patients and work with volunteer clients in situations comparable to what they will experience in their own practices. The exercises are conducted collaboratively by instructors from across the veterinary college. Visiting veterinarians, often WSU College of Veterinary Medicine alumni, play the essential roles of case facilitators. In the college's 125th year, support the Diagnostic Challenges.
