Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies is an interdisciplinary degree program that places gender and sexuality at the center of intersectional analysis. This dynamic curriculum (including a major and two minors) prepares students for careers that make an impact and create positive change in the world, and for meaningful, lifelong learning and engagement.
Since our redesigned and renamed program was launched in the fall of 2018, much has happened. Today, more than 35 WGSS affiliate faculty from across the WSU system teach students how to analyze structural conditions intersectionally and craft solutions to challenges, while keeping gender, sexual, and racial justice in clear view.
