WSU Tri-Cities is proud to serve the local community with excellent education and a unique student experience. Though this past year was tremendously challenging for so many students, the support of our Tri-Cities community, alumni, family, and friends was invaluable. Students at risk of dropping-out, taking a gap-year or a semester off were saved from doing so because of your support and generosity. Thank you!
The most diverse campus in the WSU system, WSU Tri-Cities is also proud to be recognized as a military friendly campus. In addition, over 40 percent of our students are first-generation and 60 percent are female students. Local students from the Tri-Cities and surrounding rural areas comprise the majority of our enrollment. WSU Tri-Cities prides itself on career-connected learning and innovative research that has resulted in over 92 percent of graduates employed within six months of graduation.
As we continue to move through this time, we remain committed to staying vigilant and responsive to the most pressing and critical needs of our campus and students. Thanks to your advocacy, support, and Cougar pride, we share a lot of enthusiasm and hope for brighter days ahead!
This year, WSU Tri-Cities #CougsGive day is dedicated to promoting the following funds for your support:
WSU Tri-Cities Chancellor's Excellence Fund: This fund provides campus leadership with the flexibility to fund the most compelling needs of our students, faculty, and staff.
WSU Tri-Cities Scholars Excellence Fund: This fund supports student scholarships and stewardship opportunities. Scholarships are vital to student achievement. They change lives and foster incredible future leaders in our communities.
WSU Tri-Cities Student Emergency Hardship Fund: A lifeline for students who struggle to meet the costs of higher education, this fund provides immediate support for food insecurity, bereavement, illness, or unanticipated expenses resulting from crises. With your support, we can ensure no student is forced to compromise progress toward a degree because of unexpected financial difficulties.
Thanks for being the difference-makers for many current and future WSU Tri-Cities students.
Go Cougs!
