Dean’s Excellence Fund
Contributions to the Dean’s Excellence Fund provides the dean with the flexibility to respond to emerging needs and trends while fulfilling the college’s highest priorities. This fund supports our student services, emergency and start-up research funding, professional development, guest speakers and travel.

Scholarship Excellence Fund
Financial barriers should never be the reason a student doesn’t complete their degree plan.
Your contribution to the Scholarship Excellence Fund demonstrates how much you believe in Murrow students and their dreams. Scholarships support students studying journalism, media production, science and technology communication, advertising, and public relations. Your gift ensures students have the financial support they need to focus on their studies and graduate.
Digital Excellence Fund
Your gift to the Digital Excellence Fund ensures Murrow students have access to leading-edge technology. This endowed fund supports media lab upgrades, equipment software for student rental, and our new laptop loaner program and technology awards.
Not all students have access to a computer powerful enough to run necessary programs to complete their communication coursework. In response, Murrow College established a laptop loaner program which provides students in need with a laptop from the College for the semester. We also recognized the cost of software can be a barrier for some students and, in response, established technology awards for students in need to pay for programs such as the Adobe Creative Cloud.

Northwest Public Broadcasting TV Fund
Northwest Public Broadcasting (NWPB) is a community service of the Murrow College and one way the college supports WSU’s land grant mission. Your gift to support NWPB’s television programming ensures the communities of eastern Washington continue to have access to free, local, regional and national television programs that engage, enlighten and entertain.
Northwest Public Broadcasting Radio Fund
Northwest Public Broadcasting (NWPB) is a community service of the Murrow College and one way the college supports WSU’s land grant mission. Your gift NWPB’s public radio programming ensures communities throughout Washington state and parts of Oregon, Idaho and British Columbia continue to have access to free local, regional and national programs that engage, enlighten and entertain.
