WSU's College of Veterinary Medicine is a national leader in innovative education. Guided by faculty engaged in high-impact teaching practices, we enrich our students’ education through experiential, hands-on learning. 


Diagnostic Challenges (Teaching Creativity Endowment)

During our annual Diagnostic Challenges, students diagnose patients and work with volunteer clients in a simulated setting, comparable to what they will experience in their own future practice.


Teaching Academy (Veterinary Medical Education Innovation Fund)

The Teaching Academy was established to ensure our faculty teaches with methodologies and approaches that allow students to learn best. Medical and veterinary educational leaders travel from around the world provide training for our teaching staff.
