What if WSU nursing’s Center for Experiential Learning was a national leader in using clinical simulation as a learning tool?
We are! All undergraduate, and some graduate, nursing students take part in clinical simulations using sophisticated mannequins, human actors (called standardized patients), and simulated electronic health records. Simulation provides a lifelike health care environment where students can apply their clinical skills, practice teamwork and communication, and get experience in high-risk procedures in a safe setting.
Your gift to the Experiential Learning Fund for Nursing Education will assist the college in providing the latest technology and simulation scenarios to WSU nursing students. Please join us in expertly preparing your next nurse caregiver from the college that produces the most nursing graduates in the State of Washington.
