They do! Every fourth-year MD student is required to complete a four-week clinical rotation in either a rural or urban underserved setting. The College of Medicine’s mission is to create more MDs who practice in the State of Washington – meaning in every county and town in Washington. We want Coug docs to be everywhere!
A gift to the College of Medicine Medical Students Rural Rotation Fund will assist MD students with travel and lodging expenses related to rural and urban underserved clinical rotations during their final year of medical school. Please join us in creating more MDs who will serve in the State of Washington.
