What if everyone could have equal access to health care?

Imagine driving two hours just to fill your prescription or living in a town where there is no immediate care for your sick child. For nearly 800,000 Washingtonians living in rural areas, this is a reality. The Rural Health Initiative will replenish pharmacy deserts with the most accessible health care provider: the pharmacist. What if in 10 years, all Washingtonians had accessible health care regardless of where they live and work? 

By giving to the Rural Health Initiative, you are ensuring that future WSU pharmacists specialize in rural health care and serve the most underserved areas of the state.
