From the cellular view in zoology to the worldwide lens of art history, the College of Arts and Sciences encompasses a wide array of educational, creative, scholarly, and research activity. Through core academic classes and our diverse degree programs, we guide WSU students on their educational journey. They develop critical thinking abilities, experience hands-on learning, and acquire life skills that pave the way for success both in their careers and communities.
Like you, we also know that education happens outside formal coursework. Internships, independent studies, study abroad, and other opportunities enable students to apply their learning and return to the classroom more confident and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, such opportunities can be beyond the financial reach of our students. That’s why one of our primary goals during this campaign—and our larger fundraising efforts—is to expand the resources that ensure every student who wants to pursue an engaged, world-ready education can do so.
