The School of Politics, Philosophy, and Public Affairs offers a full spectrum of undergraduate and graduate courses. Our students are imbued with a desire to engage in lifelong learning - and are also competitive in an array of job markets.
In addition to teaching and public service, faculty and graduate students engage in problem-oriented and solution-focused research. They address today’s most vital challenges, including global climate change and protecting the environment, threats to national security and international cooperation, the ethical use of AI, and democratic backsliding around the globe.
