Student Hardship Support
Flexible support when urgent needs arise

A strong student support fund ensures that WSU students have the resources they need to stay focused on their education, no matter what life brings. These flexible funds allow WSU to quickly provide assistance, helping students overcome unexpected challenges without disrupting their academic journey.

Hardship support funds have helped students:

  • Replace essential technology to continue their studies
  • Access child care when unexpected needs arise
  • Purchase groceries and household essentials
  • Travel home to support a loved one

When hardship arrives, we want to be sure that students don't have to sacrifice their educational goals to get through difficult times. You can help with a gift to a student hardship fund during #CougsGive.
