International Programs support students here and abroad, from faculty-led programs taking students to research in Antarctica, to the students flying into WSU from the opposite end of the globe. We offer over 500 study abroad programs taking that Cougar spirit across the planet and advancing academic goals. Global awareness occurs on every WSU campus where domestic students engage with international students from over 100 countries, learning and advancing the R1 research WSU is known for.
All WSU students – from Punjab to Pullman and anywhere around the world – will graduate into a globally connected economy. Now more than ever we need your help preparing graduates for a globalized workforce and the funds needed to prepare new Cougs and send students abroad on life-changing academic adventures. This includes maintaining the welcome atmosphere on all our campuses and continued support of our students. Donate today to continue WSU’s legacy as a global destination.
Student Aid
Cougs really do help Cougs, and this is the chance to express it.
Sometimes, life gets in the way of school. A sudden sickness, unexpected expense, war, natural disaster, or pandemic at home can threaten the journey to graduation. International students can only work up to 20 hours and can’t access Federal aid while in school. We’ve been here to help international students through tough times, and we want to continue to be here. You can help us ensure this aid is always available.
Your gift to the International Programs Student Aid Fund will allow us to help our students when they need that little extra to overcome their obstacles, earn their degrees, and proudly claim their places as Cougs, wherever life leads them.
Education Abroad
The workforce demands a breadth of global knowledge that education abroad can uniquely prepare students for.
In today’s international marketplace, organizations are looking for employees who understand how to work beyond US borders. Employers increasingly expect candidates to work with diverse people from different cultures with different ideas, experiences, values, and viewpoints. Students return home changed from their experiences abroad and are eager to share that perspective in the working world.
Your gift to the Aaron Iverson Education Abroad Fund will support a scholarship fund for students who have the drive – but not necessarily all the means – to learn for the future.
