The WSU Softball Club proudly represents the Cougs on and off the field. We are a group of dedicated, driven athletes who work hard three days a week to compete in games each weekend—bringing Cougar pride to every field we step onto. Last spring, we successfully played against Eastern, Gonzaga, and the University of Idaho. We won majority of the games and set a high expectation for our future club members. We had seven of our girls make it on the All-Region Pacific Teams, and two of our girls made it on the All-American team for NCSA.
This year, we are aiming even higher.
Our goal is to qualify and compete in the 2026 NCSA Regional Tournament. Traveling with 18 players means significant transportation costs. On top of that, constant training and competition wear down our gear, which we must replace often. While players contribute through club dues, it’s simply not enough to cover all of our expenses.
