#CougsGive

Save the Date for April 15, 2026!

What began in 2015 as a fun way to celebrate Washington State University's 125th birthday has evolved into something lasting and special for the Cougar Family. In the decade since that first celebration, Cougs have united around #CougsGive – WSU’s annual day of giving – and generously contributed 12,434 gifts for more than $5.6 million in support of scholarships, research, programs, innovative learning, leadership development, student activities, and more!

#CougsGive is a platform to share what it means to be a Coug, why we give to WSU, how we contribute to the Cougar community, and how we come together to envision and build our future.

On April 15, 2026, please join us in telling your own WSU story as a CougsGive Ambassador, sharing what Washington State University means to you, exploring the many inspiring projects and plans around WSU, and giving to the areas that mean the most to you!

How You Can Participate on April 15:

  1. Visit the pages on this site to learn about all the ways donors create impact at WSU!
  2. Make a gift to the areas that mean the most to you!
  3. Share a post on social media (Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, BlueSky) using #CougsGive and let us know your WSU story - Why do you care about WSU? What inspires you to donate? What's your favorite WSU memory?
  4. Encourage your fellow Cougs to participate in the day!
  5. Bonus: Sign up as a Cougar Ambassador and share your referral link to see how many gifts you can inspire!
