WSU Everett
Reducing barriers to access, for every student, every day.

The WSU Everett Student Support Fund is there for when students experience a financial crisis that could prevent them from continuing their education. This Fund helps provide emergency financial support for students in unexpected situations and maintains the Cougar Food Pantry.

As a commuter campus, WSU Everett students depend entirely on public transportation or their vehicles to attend classes. Recently, a student experienced significant car trouble and was going to miss out on courses while working to pull together the funds to pay for the necessary repairs to get their car safely back on the road. Thanks to the Student Support Fund, the student only missed a few days of classes and is back to their normal routine. Taking away the financial burden of the repair has allowed them to maintain their grades and will culminate in the student graduating this May, on time!

Did you know that a debt load as small as $5,000 can force students to withdraw from their courses? Your generous contributions to the Launching Futures initiative during Cougs Give can make a monumental difference in these students' lives. By increasing the award amount, we can help more students overcome financial barriers and continue their educational journey.

Launching Futures is a permanent endowment dedicated to breaking down barriers to education—a cause that WSU Everett passionately champions. Our scholars are students who have demonstrated exceptional leadership qualities and an unwavering passion for WSU. Extra consideration is given to those from Snohomish County, first-generation college attendees, and individuals who have overcome significant life challenges.

The Student Success Center at WSU Everett serves as the central hub for academic support, career guidance, and student collaboration. Often likened to our "Student Union Building," this vibrant area of campus is where students gather to study, compete in Mario Kart tournaments, share meals, and engage in various activities. Investing in the Student Success Center will enhance the resources and opportunities available to all WSU Everett students.

Join us in this vital effort! Your donation can transform lives and empower future leaders. Together, we can ensure that every student has the opportunity to succeed, regardless of their financial circumstances.
