WSU Vancouver

What makes WSU Vancouver special?

Small Campus, Big Opportunities: As the only four-year research university in Southwest Washington, WSU Vancouver offers a personalized high-quality education and an employer-respected WSU degree. With a student-to-faculty ratio of 14:1, students receive individualized attention and support from faculty members.

Community Engagement: WSU Vancouver is deeply involved in the local community. The university partners with local businesses, organizations, and government agencies to provide students with internship and research opportunities. Additionally, students and faculty engage in community service projects, contributing to the betterment of the region.

Diversity and Inclusion: WSU Vancouver is committed to diversity and inclusion. We received the INSIGHT Into Diversity award in 2019 and 2023. This award recognizes U.S. colleges and universities that demonstrate an outstanding commitment to diversity and inclusion.

Support of the WSU Vancouver campus community, especially first-generation college students and underrepresented students, is paramount. Thank you for your commitment to building an unforgettable, outstanding experience for all WSU Vancouver students. Below are our CougsGive priorities

WSU Vancouver Scholarship Fund directly impacts students by providing essential financial assistance, helping them stay in school and graduate with less debt. Your gift opens doors for talented students who might otherwise struggle to afford higher education. Together, we can empower the next generation of Cougs to achieve their dreams.

WSU Vancouver Veterans Center Fund helps provide vital resources, community, and academic support for student veterans transitioning from military to civilian life. Contributions help fund career services, peer mentoring, mental health resources, and a welcoming space where veterans can connect and thrive. Your support ensures that those who have served our country receive the assistance they need to succeed in their education and future careers.

LGBTQ+ Empowerment Scholarship Endowment helps create a more inclusive and supportive campus by providing financial assistance to LGBTQ+ students. Your contribution empowers students to overcome financial barriers and thrive academically while fostering a community of acceptance and belonging. Every gift strengthens this vital resource, ensuring more students have the opportunity to succeed.

WSU Vancouver Library Fund helps enhance student success by providing access to essential resources, technology, and study spaces. Your gift helps expand collections, improve digital tools, and create an environment that fosters learning and research. Investing in the library strengthens the academic experience for all VanCougs.
