For 125 years the WSU School of Music has been shaping the future of music, preparing generations of educators, performers, composers, and artistic leaders who make an impact far beyond the stage. As we celebrate this historic milestone, our commitment to student growth and success remains stronger than ever.
From regional and international concert tours to guest artist residencies, recording studio and record label internships, and meaningful engagement with K-12 students across Washington state and the northwest, the School of Music offers immersive, hands-on experiences that prepare students to thrive in today’s creative world.
The School of Music Excellence Fund plays a vital role in sustaining this legacy.
As we celebrate our 125th year in 2026-27 we are planning ensemble tours, a Gala Concert in February 2027, and programs throughout the year to engage alumni, educators, community members, and future generations of Coug musicians.
