Help us digitize, and identify, WSU campus history. WSU Libraries have 130 boxes of WSU Press photographs and negatives of campus life from 1947 to 1983. That is a third of Cougar history! Thanks to donor generosity, the Libraries have already digitized and cataloged 68 of these boxes. You can now easily search and browse these photos from anywhere and at any time by visiting the WSU Libraries’ website.
But, we have more to go. We need your support to help digitize the rest of the WSU Press collection and to identify and fill out information on the photos already up on the Libraries’ website.
WSU Libraries are the biggest student employer on campus. All negatives and photos are digitized and researched by student employees. These students gain valuable academic, professional, and meaningful opportunities for job readiness at the Libraries. We need your help to hire even more students to complete this project.
Will you help positively influence the life of a student and preserve our Cougar history by making a gift today?
