The Washington State University 4-H Youth Development Program helps young people become productive leaders who are engaged in positive change and who will meet the needs of a diverse and changing society.
4-H grows confident young people who are empowered for life today and prepared for careers tomorrow. The research-backed 4-H experience helps develop young people who are four times more likely to contribute to their communities; two times more likely to make healthier choices; two times more likely to be civically active; and two times more likely to participate in STEM programs.
When you give to one of the following Washington State 4-H Teen Programming funds, you create an impact on teens in your local community and all around the state of Washington. The programs you support help our teens obtain important life skills and characteristics needed to be successful in life.
These funds support programs to inspire, educate and support teens across Washington in learning leadership, civic engagement, and life skills. Through 4-H, teens explore STEM, agriculture, civic leadership, healthy living, and learn how to make decisions and be productive members of their communities.
Jan and Larry K. Hiller created this fund to support deserving youth who participate in Washington 4-H and have shown academic excellence, community involvement and leadership potential.
These funds support 4-H teen leadership development in a variety of areas related to teen development, including state and national events.
When you give to the Friends of 4-H Fund, you create an impact on youth in your local community and all around the state of Washington. The programs you support help our youth obtain the characteristics needed to be successful in life. Chapters across the state depend on annual contributions to fund their programs so any interested youth will have the opportunity to participate.
Every gift makes a difference for Washington’s youth. With your support, these programs will continue to serve our state.
